Great results for the overall water quality and lack of pollutants in Mountain Run near Berkeley Springs. Latitude: 39,34,33  Longitude: 78,10,12.  Weather, sunny and nice.

Dissolved Oxygen was in the optimal range. Integrity rating was optimal.

Benthic Macroinvertebrates (water living bugs) were plentiful and primarily in the low tolerance (to pollutants) category.

There were 105 low tolerance bugs of 8 different types, 22 medium tolerance of 5 types, and two bugs of two types that are resistant to pollution. Based on the number of specimens in the sampling and the diversity, the result is also an optimal rating.

As this was the first monitoring at this site, this will be a baseline level to compare to in the future.
