SWCA Members,
We are pleased to join the WV Conservation Agency and the Eastern Panhandle Conservation District in presenting an Agricultural Field Day on Saturday, September 13, 2014. The event will be held here in Morgan County at the Michael’s Farm, 4069 Luther Michael Rd (Corner of Luther Michael and Winchester Grade Roads) from 3 to 7:30 PM. There is a nominal registration fee of $5 which includes dinner to be served at 7 PM.
This program is open to all Eastern Panhandle landowners, not just the farming community. We believe you will find it to be an excellent educational opportunity to learn more about best practices for improved land management as well as the availability of technical and financial assistance from local, state, and federal agencies. Four focus stations will be set up and participants will be divided into small groups to rotate through these stations to facilitate personal contact and question and answers.
